Hello, I am Alexia
A Multicultural Journey from Creativity to Science.

Born in Indonesia and adopted as an infant, my early roots remain a mystery. Yet, my upbringing was richly diverse. My adoptive father, hailing from Indonesia, instilled in me a love for tradition and artistry. He was a Javanese dancer, and I followed in his graceful footsteps. My adoptive mother, a Ukrainian-Australian, immersed me in handicrafts, nurturing my innate creativity.

Education and Exploration: I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in Australia. Later, I delved into Arts Management, seeking to blend my passion for creativity with strategic vision. But life’s currents led me elsewhere.
Advocacy and Impact: Driven by a fervor for human rights and environmental sustainability, I engaged with asylum seekers. Their stories ignited my activism, propelling me beyond canvas and stage.
I discovered that art could be a powerful catalyst for change.

The Science-Infused Path: In the past five years, I’ve navigated the science and biotech industries—a fascinating departure from my artistic roots. Here, I witness the marriage of creativity and innovation. Learning about cutting-edge technologies fuels my curiosity. The canvas may have shifted, but the colors remain vibrant.

My North Star: Ethical, Sustainable, and Educational Endeavors: As I explore new horizons, I find myself drawn to ethical, sustainable, and educational realms. Whether it’s crafting a compelling narrative or decoding scientific breakthroughs, I seek purposeful work that resonates.

Thank you for joining me on this journey—a fusion of art, science, and unwavering curiosity.
